We may only be in summer, but LEGO is already looking ahead towards fall. In anticipation of the spooky season, LEGO is releasing a brand new Hocus Pocus LEGO set.
The new Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage Set was officially announced last week. Designed by 26-year old, Belgian LEGO fan and Hocus Pocus fan, Amber Veyt, the 2,316 piece set allows fans of the now 30-year-old original Disney film to recreate the iconic Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage.
The set is brimming with detail. It includes an actual water wheel that you can spin to make pink ‘smoke’ puff from the chimney, a light brick to light the fire under the cauldron, and a replica of the witches’ Book of Spells that can actually open. Fold up the roof to view the witches’ bedroom, or transform the house into the Sanderson Witch Museum from the films by simply adding the info-stand, museum signaage, rope barriers, and a cash register — all of which can be hidden away in a secret storage compartment under the stairs. The set also includes six new minifigures (the iconic three Sanderson Sisters, Max, Danni, Allison and Thackery Binx as the black cat). The cottage can also be transformed into the Sanderson Witch Museum
Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage Set Pricing and Pre-Order
The Disney Hocus Pocus: The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage (LEGO Set 21341) will cost $229.99. This is $100 more expensive than the recently released Disney Villain Icons set, which was an absolute blast to build and display. Unfortunately, pre-orders for the set are not available.
When does the Disney Hocus Pocus LEGO House release?
The Disney Hocus Pocus – The Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage set will be available for LEGO VIPs from July 1, 2023 and LEGO Stores for all from July 4, 2023. The Disney Villain Icons set sold out pretty quickly from the LEGO website, but I was able to purchase mine from participating retailers. Bookmark this page to buy your set when it launches.
